Scholarships for Current Students

Flagship-approved summer programs and the yearlong Capstone program are the heart of the Chinese Flagship Program. These experiences enrich students’ cultural understanding, increase their language proficiency, and connect them with peers, faculty members, and professionals abroad. Students’ time abroad truly allows them to blossom into global professionals.

We recognize that abroad experiences create financial costs for students and their families, and we work diligently to ensure that all students have the opportunity to travel and live abroad, regardless of their financial resources.

The Chinese Flagship Program offers three scholarships exclusively for Flagship students: the Language Flagship Scholarship, the Global Scholar Award, and the Capstone Commitment Scholarship. We also encourage students to apply for outside funding sources and are happy to support students’ applications by reviewing essays or providing letters of recommendation. You must be a Flagship student with good academic standing in order to apply.
